My quiet world is one full of bird song. Loud and unadulterated singing. Especially when the nightingale arrives and brings me peace both day and night.
I can tune out when my husband hogs the conversation or professes to be right or even righteous at times. I go to my quiet and calm space in the trees and pretend heβs background noise.
My quiet world is when I go closer to something that I have shunned or renamed as *not me,* and bring it into my own body to see where I can feel it as me. Simply Me. The unseen unloved me. And then I practice welcoming this thing I called *other* as an estranged/abandoned part of me.
I follow Priyanka, who I just discovered follows you, for me thatβs a great reference so here I am. In my 70βs, wearing hearing aids and so understand how settings are game changing as well our inner reflections. Looking forward to reading more of your work. Kindly, Henri Ferguson

My quiet world evolves when I'm in flow with the brush to the canvas, the pencil to the page, or gazing with nature; in flow with what surfaces.
